Adobe® launches READER XI!

2012 has seen a major change for good in the PDF Fillable Forms world: a change that PDF Reader user need to be aware of, and which will directly improve an end-user’s interaction with PDF fillable forms.
Organizations who process paper forms have long benefitted from Ultraforms® 2D Barcode capability for automating forms data extraction. While end users were able to fill and complete a fillable PDF form using the free Adobe® reader PDF viewer, they were never able to save form data. Inability to save form data forced an end user to complete a form in a single sitting and prevented them from retaining a softcopy version of the form they had just completed.
In 2012 Adobe® has released Adobe® Reader XI. Significantly, Adobe® Reader XI (which is free to download) ALLOWS THE END-USER TO SAVE FORMS DATA. While this change does not directly affect the organization publishing the PDF form, it dramatically improves the user experience of their customers who use and complete the forms.
For the benefit of their end-user customers, Dataintro strongly recommends that Ultraforms® customers communicate this new capability with their form user community.
