States of Alabama & Oklahoma select UltraForms® Technology to eliminate data entry costs

Dataintro Software, the leading provider of 2D Barcode generation technologies for PDF Forms, is proud to announce that the Department of Revenue for the States of Alabama and Oklahoma, respectively, have selected UltraForms® Technology. This exciting technology will allow Alabama and Oklahoma taxpayers to fill online PDF forms and the states will be able to capture the printed data error-free with the UltraForms® 2D barcode capabilities.

This technology enables both states to eliminate data entry costs substantially. Alabama and Oklahoma join Missouri, Louisiana and Arizona in moving ahead with 2D initiatives. The ability not only to be able to deliver error-free data from printed documents without plug-ins or external applications, but to be able to support Acrobat versions from 4.0 and up are major reasons why states are moving towards this new and exciting technology.

UltraForms® has been developed to perform on top of one of the most popular and widespread platforms, Adobe Acrobat® Reader. No further installations are required. UltraForms® works from version 4.0 and up. There is no need for additional plug-ins or lengthy time-consuming downloads.

By embedding UltraForms® Technology in PDF forms, both States will be able to produce their own 2D barcodes, and will give the taxpayer a free opportunity to generate 2D bar-coded tax returns. The only requirement will be to have a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher installed.
