Dataintro Software will be present at FTA Technology Conference
(BOOTH 318).

Sacramento, California - July 28, 2005
Dataintro Software, the leading provider of 2D barcode generation
technologies for PDF forms, will be present at the Federation of
Tax Administrators (FTA) Technology Conference. The conference will
be held August 7-10, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, at the Hyatt Regency
Columbus.
The FTA Technology Conference is an annual opportunity for government
revenue professionals, service providers, and taxpayer representatives
to gather together and learn about new initiatives, discuss issues
of interest, and get information on new products and services in
the tax and revenue marketplace.
The conference features a full agenda of sessions on new initiatives
of government tax authorities, descriptions of technology applications
and standards, and remarks by industry providers on a variety of
topics important to the tax administration community.
This year, significant sessions on data warehousing, modernized
Fed-State E-filing, Streamlined Sales tax, and data capture technologies
will be offered.
Besides sponsoring the event, Dataintro Software will have an active
presence, participating in the following events:
- Panel called "Growth Continues in 2-D Barcoding
Implementations", presented and moderated by Donna Muccilli
(Arizona DOR). Other members of the panel are: Lewis Koenig (Maryland
DOR), Dawn Glazier (Idaho DOR), Mitzi Crump (Missouri DOR), Geoff
Baum (Adobe Systems) and Carlos Gonzalez (Dataintro Software). This
Panel will take place on Monday, 8th (16:00-17:00 | Marion Ball
Room)
- Conference called "2-D Barcodes At
A Glance", presented by Carlos Gonzalez. This session
will take place on Monday, 9th (11:00-12:00 | Fairfield Ball Room).
The purpose of this session is to get familiar with an incredible
technology and to unveil some of its secrets. 2-D barcodes are without
a doubt the best way of capturing data from paper forms and this
technology is being used increasingly by State Revenue Agencies.
This session will explore the nature of 2-D barcodes in a non-technical
fashion. 2D barcodes will also be compared to other data capture
technologies.
